Just watched the post mortem on TV3. A brief synopsis of the world cup states that to date France under-performed against Argentina, England underperformed against the mighty Eagles & our own dismal performance followed suit. In this age of professionialism where mind-set & performance conditioning are paramount where were the cool Irish Heads tonight. Where was the decisiveness of management to make key changes at critical stages of play. With one of the best centres inb the world where was the leadership.An individual great. A team motivator not. Fair play to the Namibians. How many part-timers did they have !!. Get it right Eddie.

How Do Good players underperform so poorly

Wow. What a disaster of a game. Read an interview with P'OC a few days ago and he stated that they spent the summer working on new strategies and may have let their basic skills go rusty.
You don't say. Have never seen so many knock-ons and basic mistakes in my life. When you consider all that was expected of this team it is highly disappointing. Suspect the World Cup trip is over.
And as George Hook said of E O'S on the radio this evening "they gave that guy another 4 years!"
