Brian O'Driscoll looks certain to lead Ireland this weekend against England at Croke Park. Joining him is Peter Stringer who has also recovered from his injury he picked up in the first Six Nations game against Wales. With O'Driscoll back in the driving seat it should mean service will resume as usual with Horgan back on the right wing. However Eddie O'Sullivan is faced with a dilemma in choosing a full back currently its a close call between Murphy and Dempsey. While Dempsey has remained consistent over the six nations he does not bring the added spark Murphy seems to carry in attack.
Ronan O'Gara sat out a few training sessions this week because of an ankle injury but he is in no doubt to start this Saturday on what is being dubbed as “Super Saturday” with all three games taking place on the same day.
We will report the squad when it is announced, likely to be on Wednesday!
