Munster suffer a historic defeat.

It was an historic defeat for Munster as an amazing record was broken by a dominant Leicester pack. Up until last night Munster had never lost a Heineken cup game at home in the famous fortress Thomond, and it was Munster's Heineken cup rivals Leicester who knocked down the walls at Thomond.

This is what O'Gara had to say about the defeat.

"It is obviously hugely disappointing for us, but the better team won. They talked it up but they walked the walk."

"Leicester were hugely dominant up front - their pack performance was terrific - but there are two ways we can go now.

"You can just sit down or you can go away, learn the lessons and then put up a real fight. I know which option we will be taking."

The loss has meant that Munster will now play their next game away as they go through to the last eight.
