The Heineken cup has been sent into crisis mode after French clubs said they would not be competing in next year's competition. All 14 top French clubs said they will boycott next year due to the uncertainty of the competition caused by the row between English clubs and the English rugby union.
The French teams have also decided to boycott the tournament to ensure their domestic league does not suffer.
