After we reported that Magners would be sponsoring the Celtic league we can now make it official.
The Irish cider company better know as Bulmers in Ireland has confirmed it will be sponsoring the Celtic league for at least two seasons. Matches begin on September 1st with Ulster at home to Llanelli Scarlets.
We will be posting a full fixture list very soon!
All of Ireland’s 2007 six nations games will be held at Croke park, it was recently reported that corporate boxes for the home matches will cost as much as €850 (£700) each. Seeing as there are almost 2,000 corporate seats in Croke Park the income from those seats alone should cover the 1.5 million euro rental fee which has to be paid to the owners.
Remaining tickets are likely to be priced around £75 and £55.
The Celtic league has just ended its five year search for a sponsor. Magners the Irish cider company, magners or more commonly bullmers in Ireland, have announced a three year six figure deal.
Magners currently sponsor celtic league side Edinburgh gunners and Guinness premiership team London Wasps.
The deal will be announced officially next week when the league’s fixture list is released.
